German Speaking Sustainability Consultant, Climate Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive advisory projects for enterprise clients centered on Corporate Carbon Footprints, Product Carbon Footprints, and long-term Net-Zero strategies.

• Assess and organize client data to develop precise CCF/PCF models.

• Review AI-generated software outcomes, including Emission Factor mapping and quality assessments.

• Analyze, redesign, and automate essential CCF delivery frameworks.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients.

• Enhance support portals and communication avenues.

• Create scalable knowledge resources for customer teams.

• Develop and deliver well-structured presentations and case studies on intricate sustainability topics during executive meetings.

• Transform customer feedback into software feature improvements in partnership with internal engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or native-level German (C2 level) is strictly required for daily interactions with clients.

• Proficient English (C1/C2) is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in sustainability consulting or an internal corporate ESG position.

• Focused expertise on Corporate Carbon Footprints (CCF), Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), or Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).

• Proven experience in personally building and validating carbon footprint models.

• A builder mindset, prepared to manage tactical deliverables while creating structured, scalable frameworks.

• Outstanding project leadership skills.

• Clear, structured, and persuasive communication style.

• Previous advisory experience with mid-market or large enterprise organizations is a plus.

• Experience in Climate Tech SaaS, Clean-Tech solutions, or sustainability initiatives within the retail and food sectors is advantageous.

• Demonstrated success in developing customer support resources or implementing process automation platforms is a plus.
