German Speaking Sustainability Climate Tech Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive consulting projects for enterprise clients related to Corporate Carbon Footprints, Product Carbon Footprints, and Net-Zero strategies.

• Convert client corporate data into accurate CCF/PCF calculations.

• Review and audit AI-generated outputs, including Emission Factor matching.

• Evaluate, enhance, and reconstruct consulting delivery methods alongside the advisory team.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.

• Enhance support channels and resource centers.

• Develop reusable knowledge assets for client teams.

• Create and deliver presentations and technical case studies during discussions with executive-level clients.

• Convert client feedback into actionable insights for internal technology teams to improve the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or fluent German at a C2 level is essential.

• Professional proficiency in English (C1/C2) is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sustainability advisory or an in-house ESG role.

• Strong expertise in Corporate Carbon Footprints (CCF), Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), or Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).

• Demonstrated success in calculating and developing carbon footprint metrics.

• Proactive “builder” mindset with a focus on executing daily operational tasks while establishing scalable delivery systems.

• Excellent project management capabilities.

• Clear, structured, and engaging presentation skills.

• Direct consulting experience with mid-market or enterprise clients is a plus.

• Background in Climate Tech, Clean-Tech SaaS, or sustainability projects in the food or retail industries is advantageous.

• Experience in creating customer enablement materials or implementing process automation tools is a bonus.
