This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of agentic AI and AWS modernization initiatives across our three main areas: Data Platform Modernization, Application & Database Modernization, and AI Agents for Applications.

• Contribute to the development and testing of AI agent components, orchestration, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation harnesses under the guidance of FDE, using real data when possible.

• Support the transformation of existing product or process functionalities into callable agent tools, while working under supervision.

• Participate in architecture discussions and customer meetings to understand how design choices are made and justified; you will observe and add input, but not take the lead.

• Assist in documenting agent decisions and testing evidence to ensure that outputs are traceable and defensible.

• Bring insights gained from shadowing experiences back to your own work, facilitating small improvements that you can manage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A foundational understanding of Python (and ideally some TypeScript) acquired through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships; professional production experience is not required.

• A genuine interest in agentic AI, including how agents plan, utilize tools, retrieve context, and undergo evaluation; prior experience in shipping an agent is not necessary, but a desire to learn how they are properly constructed is essential.

• Basic knowledge of cloud concepts; familiarity with AWS through coursework, ongoing certifications, or personal projects is advantageous.

• Comfort with test-driven development practices and a willingness to learn how to write test cases before coding, rather than afterward.
