GDS Expert – Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and coordinate travel arrangements for corporate clients, including both individuals and groups.

• Research and evaluate various travel options.

• Anticipate the needs of travelers proactively and promote additional services.

• Organize and reserve domestic and international business travel including air, road, rail, and lodging.

• Utilize the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).

• Ensure adherence to clients’ travel policies, service provider regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Employ positive customer service techniques over the phone.

• Address specific requests from customers.

• Work collaboratively with the team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A demonstrated history as a Travel Counselor with extensive industry knowledge.

• Advanced proficiency in GDS systems (AMADEUS).

• Proven experience in managing both domestic and international travel bookings.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.

• High level of attention to detail in booking and documentation tasks.

• Strong dedication to data security and confidentiality in managing traveler information.

• Proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to receive feedback and pursue continuous improvement.

• Availability to work afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Willingness to operate in a 24/7 environment.
