Game Development Expert – AI Training Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create small-scale game projects or interactive scenes utilizing established game engines.

• Introduce realistic gameplay bugs that necessitate investigation, playtesting, and on-screen analysis.

• Design complex feature-development tasks that involve various gameplay systems and mechanics.

• Draft clear, concise task briefs based on real-world instructions from players, designers, or producers.

• Develop reference solutions for each task, encompassing bug fixes and feature implementations.

• Establish measurable acceptance criteria, specifying required input sequences, expected visual outcomes, and verifiable in-game states.

• Perform comprehensive playtesting to ensure tasks are reproducible, reliable, and solvable.

• Ensure tasks accurately represent real game development workflows and offer meaningful challenges for AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in game development through professional roles, indie projects, solo development, or serious hobby projects.

• Strong expertise in at least one major game engine, including Unity, Godot, or Unreal Engine.

• Experience with relevant scripting and programming technologies, such as C#, GDScript, C++, or Blueprints.

• Ability to navigate game editors, manage scenes, debug gameplay logic, and troubleshoot engine-related challenges.

• Demonstrated skill in identifying and resolving gameplay bugs through iterative testing.

• Capability to design interactive features and comprehend how various game systems function together.

• Excellent written communication skills for documenting task requirements and acceptance criteria.

• A portfolio or verifiable examples of game development work, including published games, GitHub repositories, itch.io projects, game jam entries, or shipped titles.
