This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Craft and develop gameplay systems and features for innovative game prototypes.
• Focus on core gameplay elements, progression, balance, and initial meta systems.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive game design documentation, including concept documents, GDDs, and feature specifications.
• Evaluate gameplay challenges and suggest solutions to enhance player experience and engagement.
• Engage in prototyping and iterative processes with the R&D team.
• Design and fine-tune game balance, rewards, pacing, and progression mechanics.
• Utilize product metrics to develop gameplay hypotheses.
• Collaborate with game designers, producers, artists, and developers during the early stages of production.
• Over 3 years of experience as a Game Designer.
• Background in hyper-casual, hybrid-casual, or puzzle game development.
• Experience in creating games or prototypes from the ground up during R&D or pre-production phases.
• Involvement in at least 5 game projects or prototypes.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining game design documentation.
• Solid understanding of gameplay systems, progression, balancing, and player motivation.
• Strong knowledge of the mobile gaming market and current genre trends.
• Capable of articulating ideas clearly and thriving in a fast-paced iteration environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in both Russian and English is required.
