Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee all stages of implementation, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.

• Gather and interpret business, merchandising, design, and sales processes into functional requirements and align them with VibeIQ capabilities.

• Set up VibeIQ Plans, Boards, Showcases, workflows, user roles, permissions, data models, and integration points.

• Collaborate with merchandising, planning, design, and sales stakeholders to gain insights into assortment lifecycle calendars, metrics, and challenges.

• Offer advisory and consulting services regarding assortment planning, visual line planning, B2B sales workflows, and strategies for adoption.

• Develop training materials, conduct workshops, and empower end users.

• Oversee data onboarding, ensure data quality, manage migration, and establish mappings.

• Test configurations and integrations, and assist in user acceptance testing.

• Monitor post-go-live performance, track KPIs, gather feedback, foster adoption, and refine configurations.

• Act as a subject matter expert in VibeIQ product functionalities.

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to relay client feedback and propose enhancements.

• Assist with go-live and hypercare to ensure stability of post-deployment solutions.

• Work in partnership with clients and colleagues at ArcherGrey to develop best practices and methodologies for VibeIQ implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• At least 8 years of previous experience in implementing SaaS platforms, varying by level.

• Background in retail, fashion, consumer goods, assortment, planning, or merchandising sectors.

• Profound functional knowledge of assortment planning, merchandising, B2B selling, and product design workflows.

• Excellent analytical skills, including a strong grasp of business KPIs, process flows, and data models.

• Experience in configuring software platforms, including user roles, permissions, and workflows.

• Familiarity with integrations, APIs, data import/export, testing, and data cleansing/migration.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and conducting training.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities; adept at managing multiple simultaneous implementations, timelines, and deliverables.

• Experience with visual line planning or design collaboration tools.

• Previous exposure to B2B selling platforms or marketplaces.

• Familiarity with fashion/retail seasonal cycles and the product assortment lifecycle.

• Knowledge of data visualization or dashboarding tools.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Solid understanding of FlexPLM business processes.

• Eagerness and drive to expand expertise in VibeIQ as a contemporary SaaS platform.
