Functional Analyst II – SAP CO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in implementation projects, rollouts, support, and continuous improvement efforts across SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC, and Retail).

• Convert business requirements into effective system solutions.

• Examine Finance and Controlling processes and suggest redesigned solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency, automation, and modernization.

• Evaluate requests by giving priority to native SAP (standard) solutions, while avoiding and eliminating unnecessary customizations (Z transactions).

• Assist business areas in troubleshooting complex incidents.

• Investigate underlying causes and promote user training to ensure appropriate system usage.

• Keep abreast of SAP innovations (Fiori, BTP, AI, new features, and automation).

• Facilitate the transition from ECC to S/4HANA.

• Enhance financial closing and cost accounting processes.

• Standardize data and consolidate financial information by tax identification number (CNPJ) and sales channel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Theoretical and practical experience with routine Accounting and Controlling processes (costing, month-end closing, planning/budgeting, cost and profit centers, and CO-PA).

• Hands-on knowledge of the SAP CO module.

• Involvement in SAP S/4HANA implementation, support, or rollout projects.

• Previous direct experience as a CO Key User (preferred).

• Practical understanding of FI/CO integration with MM, SD, PP, PM, and EWM (preferred).

• Official SAP Associate or Professional certification in Controlling (CO) or S/4HANA Management Accounting (preferred).

• Ability to adapt to organizational changes and process restructuring.

• A continual desire to learn and willingness to gain insights from industry experts.

• Capacity to bridge the gap between technical IT terminology and business language (Finance/Controlling).
