Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop new user-facing functionalities in the Linqia Platform utilizing Vue.js, Vuex, and TypeScript.

• Convert business requirements and user objectives into engaging, user-friendly experiences.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and QA teams to establish UI/UX strategies and enhance user experience.

• Design and build resilient, scalable server-side applications using Python.

• Write intricate SQL queries with Trino or comparable tools to collect and analyze data from diverse sources.

• Create and maintain microservices that support the platform.

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot both relational and non-relational databases.

• Integrate RESTful APIs to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.

• Create well-tested features, engage in code reviews, and take full ownership of the codebase from start to finish.

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end integration tests.

• Keep abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to promote ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• 2–4 years of experience as a software engineer/developer, with familiarity in both front-end and back-end development.

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript with TypeScript, Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, and Webpack/Vite.

• Proficient in Python and in building and integrating APIs using FastAPI.

• Skilled in SQL and database optimization methods.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of version control using Git/GitHub.

• Front-end or full-stack experience in an Agile environment.

• Strong dedication to code quality, testing, and performance enhancements.

• Proficiency in the English language is essential.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases is advantageous.

• A postgraduate degree in Computer Science or additional education/experience in a technical domain is a plus.

• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms is beneficial.

• Knowledge of Docker is a bonus.

• Understanding of Apache Kafka or similar messaging queues and streaming platforms is a plus.

• Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques is preferred.

• Experience with performance testing and profiling tools is desirable.

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and LLM frameworks is a plus.
