Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop new user-facing functionalities for the Linqia Platform utilizing Vue.js, Vuex, and TypeScript.

• Convert business requirements and user objectives into intuitive and captivating experiences.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and QA teams to establish UI/UX strategies that ensure a seamless user experience.

• Design and implement robust, scalable server-side applications using Python.

• Craft complex SQL queries with Trino or similar tools to collect and analyze data from various sources.

• Create and sustain microservices that support the platform.

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot both relational and non-relational databases.

• Integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth end-to-end functionality.

• Develop thoroughly tested features and engage in code reviews.

• Create comprehensive end-to-end integration tests.

• Stay updated with technologies and industry trends to foster continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 2–4 years of experience as a software engineer/developer, with exposure to both front-end and back-end development.

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript with TypeScript, Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, and Webpack/Vite.

• Proficient in Python, with a solid understanding of building and integrating APIs using FastAPI.

• Skilled in SQL and techniques for database optimization.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.

• Front-end or full-stack experience in an Agile environment.

• Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and performance enhancement.

• Proficiency in the English language is required.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases is advantageous.

• A postgraduate degree in CS or additional education/experience in a technical domain is a plus.

• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure is an asset.

• Familiarity with Docker is a plus.

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar messaging queues and streaming platforms is a plus.

• Understanding of caching mechanisms and techniques for performance optimization is a plus.

• Experience with performance testing and profiling tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and LLM frameworks is a plus.
