This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and enhance applications on SAP BTP utilizing CAP, side-by-side extensions, destinations, event-driven architecture, and SAP Document Management Service.
• Create solutions that align with SAP Clean Core principles and promote modern, upgrade-safe architectures.
• Implement SAP-facing features across CAP services, Fiori/UI5 interfaces, integrations, authentication, and configuration.
• Design and maintain front-end applications using Fiori/UI5, React, and Material UI.
• Collaborate with SAP content technologies such as ArchiveLink, SAP Content Server, GOS, DMS, and the S/4HANA Attachments OData API.
• Establish and maintain integrations with enterprise content repositories including Box, SharePoint Online, M-Files, FileNet P8, S3, OpenText, and Google Cloud.
• Architect reliable asynchronous processes incorporating retries, dead-letter queues, idempotency, and graceful shutdown.
• Manage document metadata, versioning, retention, legal hold, and audit requirements.
• Assist in the migration of large volumes of enterprise documents while ensuring data integrity.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and contribute to internal AI and MCP tooling.
• Engage in code reviews and uphold development standards, testing requirements, and documentation practices.
• Collaborate closely with the product and development team to guide features from concept to production.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in developing and delivering production software.
• Proficient development skills in Java, TypeScript, or ABAP.
• Experience in building user interfaces with Fiori/UI5, React, or similar modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and cloud-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of testing, code reviews, documentation, and version control practices.
• Capability to work across both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Interest in SAP BTP, Clean Core principles, and contemporary SAP architecture.
• Experience with enterprise applications or intricate business systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving complex integration challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or interest in full-stack SAP development.
• Ability to implement a feature through a UI using Fiori/UI5 or React.
• Understanding of SAP BTP and Clean Core concepts.
• Experience in content/document management, including repository APIs, metadata models, versioning, retention, or migrations.
• Familiarity with CMIS or an ECM platform is a plus.
• Daily use of AI assistants with the ability to review and validate generated code.
• Experience with small pull requests, testing, and documentation.
• Must already possess legal eligibility to work in Canada.
