Full Stack Engineer – React, Springboot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and provide support for enterprise applications utilizing Spring Boot and React.

• Create scalable REST APIs, Java microservices, and Single Page Applications.

• Design and implement enterprise search features using SolrCloud.

• Diagnose and enhance multi-tier applications across Java, JavaScript, Linux, web, and search platforms.

• Develop automated unit, integration, functional, security, and performance tests.

• Engage in CI/CD, DevSecOps, production support, monitoring, and incident resolution.

• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical and operational documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering focused on developing enterprise-scale applications in the U.S.

• Proficient frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Strong practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.

• Experience in developing and supporting distributed, multi-tier applications on Linux systems.

• Excellent troubleshooting, application profiling, and performance tuning abilities.

• Familiarity with GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of TDD/BDD, automated testing, integration testing, and performance evaluation.

• Experience collaborating in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban teams.

• Strong communication skills and ability to produce technical documentation.

• Eligibility for Public Trust clearance; active clearance is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science along with 7+ years of relevant experience.

• Preferred qualifications (not mandatory): Proficiency in Apache Solr, Lucene, or Elasticsearch; Docker and containerized microservices; Cypress, JMeter, Rapid7, and DevSecOps/security testing; Spring Cloud, Spring AI, NLP, and Generative AI; experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud services; familiarity with Nginx, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk; utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
