Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Implement new features, maintain current functionalities, and provide support for essential products.

• Carry out the complete software development life cycle.

• Integrate various components into cohesive systems.

• Create software verification plans and establish quality assurance protocols.

• Document and uphold software functionalities.

• Customize and deploy software tools, processes, and performance metrics.

• Utilize industry best practices and standards.

• Organize application design by defining objectives and creating functionalities.

• Enhance and refine software systems through upgrades, performance tracking, and the adoption of new technologies.

• Refresh and expand code coverage, unit testing, and automated software quality assurance methods.

• Develop and implement standards and best practices to protect systems from malicious and intentional misuse.

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud deployments using standardized tools, automated processes, and accountability measures.

• Assist in production releases, address client inquiries, and identify application bugs or improvements.

• Collaborate with and provide assistance to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• United States citizenship is required.

• For at least 3 of the last 5 years, candidates must have lived in the United States, worked in a federal or military capacity overseas, or been a dependent of a federal or military employee serving abroad.

• Must pass additional checks to obtain LAR certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in programming with Microsoft C# (preferred) or a comparable language.

• Over 3 years of practical experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proficient in object-oriented principles, design patterns, multi-tiered architectures, and software development best practices.

• Familiarity with web APIs, RESTful API design, JSON, XML, data structures, and protocols utilized in internet services.

• Experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks, and TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud platforms.

• Basic understanding of security and scalability principles.

• Ability to efficiently and effectively diagnose, debug, and resolve coding issues.

• A methodical and persistent approach to troubleshooting complex challenges.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
