Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee scalable, secure, mission-focused technical solutions that bolster federal modernization efforts.

• Create comprehensive technical solutions that span applications, integrations, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.

• Convert business, product, and mission needs into scalable architectural strategies.

• Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and product teams to facilitate solution design and implementation.

• Spearhead architecture conversations, technical design evaluations, and decision-making regarding solutions.

• Establish architecture standards, reusable design frameworks, and engineering best practices.

• Direct API architecture for REST and GraphQL services.

• Develop scalable application integration models, interoperability strategies, and data flows.

• Assist in modernization, cloud transformation, and enterprise platform projects.

• Assess technical risks, architectural trade-offs, dependencies, and implementation strategies.

• Ensure that solutions conform to security, compliance, performance, and scalability standards.

• Mentor engineering teams and provide architectural guidance throughout various programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates MUST BE US Citizens and capable of obtaining Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or solutions architecture positions.

• Extensive experience in designing enterprise application architectures and scalable distributed systems.

• Profound hands-on experience with Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, OpenJDK, GraphQL, REST APIs, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Strong experience in frontend architecture using Angular, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of application integration, API design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise solution patterns.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure collaboration, and contemporary delivery methodologies.

• Knowledge of secure application architecture, API security, and best practices in enterprise design.

• Excellent documentation, architecture communication, and stakeholder leadership abilities.

• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, serverless architecture, or platform engineering.

• Experience in supporting federal government agencies.
