Full Stack Developer – Java/TypeScript/Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Identify, design, construct, and evaluate cloud-based applications and prototypes that facilitate discovery initiatives.

• Engage in both front-end and back-end development to investigate, assess, and confirm technical methodologies and digital services.

• Create and enhance applications utilizing Java / Spring Boot, Python, TypeScript, and Angular.

• Develop and utilize RESTful APIs while integrating with back-end microservices.

• Design prototype user interfaces that prioritize accessibility, usability, and responsive design.

• Build applications on Microsoft Azure, encompassing App Services, AKS, Functions, and Databases.

• Contribute to DevOps pipelines, manage version control, and implement automated testing.

• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and UX designers to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.

• Engage in sprint planning, code reviews, and the creation of technical documentation.

• Aid in the integration of front-end components with APIs and event-driven back-end systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess active SC clearance.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Java / Spring Boot and TypeScript / Angular in both production and prototype settings.

• Proficient knowledge of Python for API or integration scripting tasks.

• Strong grasp of Azure cloud services, including App Services, AKS, and storage options.

• Experience in API development and consumption, as well as managing data interchange between systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress), and Git workflows.

• Awareness of secure coding practices, authentication (OAuth / OIDC), and identity management principles.

• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities in multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in discovery or alpha projects, including the creation of prototypes or proofs of concept.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automated testing pipelines.

• Understanding of digital environments or technology standards in the public sector.

• Exposure to data integration and analytics solutions within full-stack applications.
