Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable, dependable, and adaptable applications using TypeScript with NodeJS and Angular 9+

• Design, implement, and/or utilize RESTful web services

• Create modern and responsive user interfaces for the web across various devices

• Engage in agile software development, including prototyping, testing, and code reviews within a small development team

• Write comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests

• Collaborate with full-stack developers, cloud engineers, and subject matter experts to design and construct the NCATS Notebooks Hub

• Build cloud-native interactive developer environments and custom dashboarding and visualization applications using containerization and orchestration tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field (relevant work experience may substitute for a degree)

• Over 3 years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript

• More than 3 years of experience as a full-stack developer

• Node.js experience is preferred

• Angular 19+ experience is preferred

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, is preferred

• Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred

• Proficient with DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions is preferred

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git

• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks

• Familiarity with leveraging GenAI technologies (e.g., CursorAI, Cline, Windsurf)

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

• Proficient in technical writing

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Detail-oriented in creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
