Full Microsoft Stack IT Development Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive Microsoft Stack development consultation and services for the SRR Business Systems IT Department.

• Create new applications and revise or modify existing Liquid Waste Organization applications.

• Offer data migration and systems/application support.

• Provide application migration services during contract transitions.

• Assist in the implementation of the Deltek Costpoint Supply Chain Services system.

• Improve or rewrite web, utility, and helper applications for reporting, data management, integration, and automation.

• Support the transition of prime contracts and the assimilation of outgoing contractor work scope.

• Transition business applications and data to the new Environmental Management General Contractor.

• Continue to address current operational needs.

• Formulate application implementation plans.

• Collect and document application requirements in collaboration with subject matter experts and Business Systems IT.

• Generate goals, definitions, background information, assumptions, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, ERDs, and wireframes as necessary.

• Create application test plans based on established acceptance criteria.

• Develop or adjust applications in accordance with approved requirements.

• Utilize Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft Web API 2.0, JSON, jQuery AJAX, DataTables, and Mustache templates as needed.

• Adhere to LWO Business Systems C# coding standards and secure approval for intended LINQ usage.

• Engage in code reviews.

• Provide necessary deliverables including test plans, diagrams, schedules, codebase documentation, executed test-plan documentation, libraries/components, and change-management documentation.

• Deliver software, documentation, and media to end users while ensuring that media is free of viruses.

• Collaborate with LWO departments on coding standards, evaluations, knowledge transfer, and training requirements.

• Collaborate with the LWO Design Authority and Business Systems IT Manager for review, testing, acceptance, and approval.

• Support penetration and vulnerability scanning conducted by LWO cybersecurity.

• Must be a US Citizen and reside in the United States.

• Proven experience and success across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including user stories, application development, test plan creation, testing, production turnover, and documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Comprehensive experience with the full Microsoft stack development.

• Proficient in C#.

• Familiar with ASP.NET MVC.

• Experience with JavaScript.

• Knowledge of HTML.

• Proficiency in CSS.

• Skilled in SQL data manipulation.

• Understanding of secure coding practices.

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint.

• Familiarity with Puridiom.

• Knowledge of SCM Receiving Manifest systems.

• Experience working with application database systems.

• Proficient in Deltek Costpoint General Ledger.

• Experienced in Deltek Costpoint Supply Chain.

• Knowledgeable in jQuery.

• Proficient with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).

• Development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or later in C#.

• Capability to develop applications for Microsoft IIS or standalone with a Microsoft SQL backend.

• Familiarity with LWO Business Systems C# coding standards.

• Prior review and approval required for LINQ usage.

• Understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.

• Ability to quickly learn additional tools as needed.
