Frontend Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop the next-generation TMW Suite Dispatch UI from the ground up.

• Create responsive and accessible React interfaces utilizing TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and MUI X DataGrid.

• Connect frontend components with CloudHub/OData/CHC backend API layers and customer SQL database processes.

• Deliver fully tested software on a weekly demonstration schedule using Playwright and axe-core.

• Design user-friendly interfaces for drag-and-drop planning, real-time map synchronization, and optimized data grids.

• Leverage AI tools like Cursor to enhance development speed, establish test scaffolding, and improve component libraries.

• Work collaboratively within a pod model alongside another developer and an embedded generalist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building production-level React applications with TypeScript.

• Strong component architecture skills with composable, testable components, clear prop contracts, and effective state management.

• Experience with data-heavy UIs, including grids, tables, filters, server-side pagination, and real-time updates.

• Proficiency in REST/OData API integration and debugging complete request/response flows.

• Solid CSS/styling skills for responsive layouts, design system integration, and ensuring consistent cross-browser performance.

• Familiarity with Git workflows, including trunk-based development, feature branches, a clean commit history, and PR reviews.

• Ability to work closely with another developer and an embedded generalist while delivering weekly updates.

• Experience with drag-and-drop implementation (bonus).

• Familiarity with AI coding assistants like Cursor (bonus).

• Knowledge of MUI/Material UI component library and theming (bonus).

• Previous experience transforming legacy desktop applications into browser-based UIs (bonus).

• Background in .NET/C# OData APIs (helpful but not mandatory).

• Domain knowledge in logistics, transportation, or energy sectors (bonus).
