Frontend Developer – React/Angular, Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Grupo Boticário’s custom e-commerce platform.

• Create high-performance, scalable, interactive, and responsive user interfaces.

• Write code, conduct unit testing, deploy applications, monitor them in production, and ensure their stability.

• Take part in the support rotation, monitor alarms, and be available for on-call duties to address the squad’s tickets.

• Act as a technical guide for the team.

• Foster team growth through Code Reviews and Pair Programming.

• Drive the evolution and advancement of the e-commerce platform.

• Investigate new technologies and establish front-end architecture standards.

• Facilitate the transition of legacy Angular code to React.

• Collaborate with teams in e-commerce technology, infrastructure, DevOps, and marketplaces.

• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

• Engage in product implementation decisions with a sense of ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced expertise and experience with React and its modern ecosystem.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Practical understanding of or familiarity with Angular for migrating legacy code.

• Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• Proficient in Git version control.

• Experience in consuming and integrating REST APIs.

• Knowledge of techniques to optimize page load times and performance.

• Understanding of accessibility and front-end conversion optimization.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Software Architecture, Design Systems, and Micro-frontends.

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog, or comparable platforms.

• Experience in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and CI/CD practices.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Node.js.

• Preferred: background in e-commerce platforms and marketplace ecosystems.

• Preferred: experience with GraphQL, Next.js, Monorepos, and Google Core Web Vitals.

• Preferred: knowledge of AWS/GCP, AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, Sonar, and Fortify.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Results-driven mindset when tackling complex challenges.

• Willingness to engage in support tasks, on-call rotations, and ticket management.

• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to interact with both technical and business teams.
