Fresh Food Department Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lesotho.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct all operations within the fresh food department

• Lead, unify, and provide support to a team of five staff members

• Ensure the quality and freshness of products while maintaining strict adherence to food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)

• Place orders, manage inventory, and conduct stock counts

• Track essential financial performance metrics, including sales, margins, and shrinkage

• Execute Intermarché’s commercial strategy, encompassing promotions, seasonal products, and visual merchandising

• Guarantee customer satisfaction and foster loyalty

• Demonstrated experience in a comparable position within the food retail sector

• In-depth knowledge of fresh food items

• Proven leadership and management abilities

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and motivated by challenges
