Freight Broker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between shippers and carriers to facilitate the transportation of goods.

• Organize the transportation of goods and allocate loads to drivers.

• Ensure that deliveries and pickups are executed in a timely manner.

• Track shipments utilizing tracking software and provide precise updates to customers and the internal team.

• Identify qualified carriers and negotiate transportation rates.

• Supply all necessary documentation for deliveries and pickups.

• Oversee shipments from initiation to completion or transfer to a teammate at the end of the shift.

• Address questions from carriers and customers, and consult with the on-call manager when additional assistance is required.

• Maintain accountability, time management, and effective communication, even under pressure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in trucking or freight brokerage, with a foundational understanding of the trucking industry.

• Availability to work after hours.

• Familiarity with broker loads.
