Freelance Senior FLEXCUBE System Analyst – B2B Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Analyze, develop, and enhance functionality within the Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking platform.

• Assist in platform-level development and minimize accumulated technical debt.

• Analyze and configure FLEXCUBE products, parameters, events, accounting roles, and accounting rules.

• Support migration efforts and banking transformation initiatives.

• Examine core banking processes and convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Investigate production issues through database queries, application logs, interfaces, and technical documentation.

• Conduct data analysis and validation using SQL.

• Analyze integrations with SOAP/REST web services and XML messages.

• Work with FLEXCUBE database, application, and interface architecture.

• Collaborate with business, Core Banking, architecture, development, and support teams.

• Offer ideas and enhancements for the long-term growth of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly experienced, hands-on FLEXCUBE professional with a proven track record.

• Extensive hands-on experience with core banking operations.

• Profound understanding of account lifecycle, interest calculations, fee calculations, accounting entries, and regulatory reporting concepts.

• Strong commercial experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE / FCUBS.

• Practical experience with FLEXCUBE product setup and parameters, events, accounting roles and rules, database architecture, application architecture, interfaces, and integrations.

• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.

• Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with XML messages.

• Ability to analyze UNIX/Linux application logs.

• Capability to interpret technical documentation, system specifications, and logs.

• Proven experience in production and/or application support environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to independently investigate complex platform-level issues.

• Proactive attitude with the ability to generate and challenge ideas.

• Comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Mature professional communication skills.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX is a plus.

• Oracle FLEXCUBE certifications are an advantage.
