Freelance Scientific Director – Medical Education, Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strategize, develop, and manage scientific content for designated accounts across various therapeutic domains, including Oncology, tailored for diverse target audiences.

• Collaborate with the Group Scientific Director to deliver strategic medical communication insights that align with brand objectives.

• Take the lead in executing content development initiatives autonomously.

• Coordinate with both in-house and freelance personnel to oversee writing and other content-related activities.

• Perform background research to support content accuracy and relevance.

• Conduct data verification and reference citation.

• Oversee projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master's or doctoral degree in a scientific field is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in promotional medical education and/or medical affairs content.

• Proven skills in organization, analysis, and interpersonal communication.

• Capability to analyze and interpret scientific data effectively.

• Proficient in multitasking and working independently.

• Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines with limited guidance.

• Familiarity with established medical editorial standards, such as AMA style.

• Knowledge of ethical guidelines in medical communication.

• Experience with solid and/or hematologic cancers is highly desirable.
