Freelance Portuguese Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and deliver online lessons lasting 45 minutes each for corporate clients.

• Provide individualized 1:1 sessions that integrate language instruction with personalized coaching.

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate student proficiency levels.

• Develop customized learning pathways.

• Monitor student advancement throughout lesson time.

• Establish clear objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• C2 proficiency in Portuguese.

• A valid teaching certification such as TEFL/CELTA or equivalent university qualifications.

• Experience in online education and offering 1:1 coaching or tailored learning assistance.

• Proficiency in additional languages: B2 level or higher in another language.

• Ability to teach skills such as presentation techniques, negotiation strategies, business email etiquette, meeting management, and multicultural communication.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage and instruct students.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Modern laptop or PC equipped with a microphone and camera.

• Must adhere to local freelance or contractor regulations.
