Freelance Medical Post-Editors, Portuguese-English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Translate, review, and post-edit clinical trial documents to ensure compliance with the medical and ethical standards of the target language.

• Improve the readability, precision, and coherence of scientific and medical texts without compromising their original meaning.

• Work collaboratively with translation teams to provide constructive feedback and recommend necessary adjustments.

• Keep abreast of the latest medical terminology and advancements to ensure translations are accurate and up-to-date.

• Ensure all documents meet relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in clinical translation and post-editing.

• Must be a native speaker of the target language.

• Proficiency in the source language(s).

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical terminology and concepts.

• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.

• Certification in medical post-editing, translation, or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with memoQ is preferred.

• A degree in Medicine or Pharmacy would be advantageous (preferred).
