Freelance Learning Content Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Review and engage with existing source materials and subject matter content.

• Organize and structure content into coherent topics, modules, and lessons.

• Assist in the formulation of clear learning objectives and learner-centered content.

• Convert complex or text-heavy material into clear, engaging, and easily navigable learning experiences.

• Create comprehensive and engaging lessons in Articulate Storyline and Rise by applying established multimedia instructional design principles.

• Utilize relevant visuals, interactions, scenarios, examples, and other learning activities to enhance learner engagement.

• Update content based on constructive feedback.

• Perform basic quality assurance checks prior to submitting work for review.

• Collaborate with internal Learning and Development professionals on requirements, key decisions, and reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing corporate and professional adult learning content.

• Extensive experience with Articulate 360, especially Rise 360 and/or Storyline 360.

• Proficient in organizing, simplifying, and structuring complex or text-heavy content.

• Strong knowledge and application of instructional design and adult learning principles.

• Capability to create engaging learning experiences utilizing a mix of content, visuals, interactions, and knowledge checks.

• Excellent written English and communication skills.

• Good visual judgment and a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently while adhering to established requirements and guidelines, as well as incorporating feedback.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills coupled with a professional work ethic.

• Ability to collaborate effectively based on project needs and time-zone considerations.
