This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread gaming content from Korean to Vietnamese for both indie and AAA game localization projects.

• Ensure a top-notch gaming experience for players in Vietnam.

• Manage gaming terminology across the Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy genres.

• Adhere to guidelines concerning tags and character limits.

• Execute translation, proofreading, and MTPE tasks in line with project specifications.

• Meet deadlines in a dynamic, creative setting.

• Complete a translation assessment and sign a confidentiality agreement as part of the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Vietnamese.

• Strong command of both Korean and English.

• At least 2 years of experience in gaming localization and Korean-to-Vietnamese proofreading.

• Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games.

• Familiarity with gaming terminology.

• Ability to follow instructions related to tags and character limits.

• Proficiency in CAT tools.

• Excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills.

• Capacity to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

• Required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

• Must complete a translation test.

• One of the following qualifications: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with substantial translation training); 2+ years of translation experience coupled with a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience without a degree; or a translation certification from a recognized government body.
