Freelance Japanese Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and deliver 45-minute online lessons for corporate clients.

• Provide personalized 1:1 private lessons that integrate language instruction with tailored coaching.

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate student proficiency levels.

• Develop customized learning trajectories.

• Monitor student advancement throughout lessons.

• Establish clear learning objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• C2 proficiency in Japanese.

• A valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or relevant university qualifications.

• Prior experience in online education and offering 1:1 coaching or individualized learning assistance.

• B2 level or higher in an additional language.

• Proficient in teaching presentation skills, negotiation techniques, business email etiquette, meeting management, and cross-cultural communication.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Modern laptop or PC equipped with a microphone and camera.

• Must adhere to local freelance or contractor regulations.
