Freelance Brand Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop compelling visual identities for real-world brands and products within the Tendem project.

• Create essential brand assets, such as logos, complete visual identities, and color palettes.

• Organize and present variations of key brand components.

• Maintain brand consistency across both internal and external materials, including pitch decks and social media kits.

• Construct scalable visual systems that adhere to contemporary design standards.

• Ensure brand quality is upheld across both digital and print formats.

• Utilize industry-standard design tools to manage essential design assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communications is preferred.

• A strong portfolio that emphasizes brand identity creation, logo design, and comprehensive brand guidelines.

• Profound understanding of how to translate branding across digital and print mediums.

• Capability to work autonomously and establish enduring visual systems.

• Expertise in designing scalable logos, unique color palettes, and typography systems.

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt brand identity for digital, social media, pitch deck, and print formats.

• Strong organizational skills for crafting brand guidelines, style guides, and structured asset libraries.

• A strategic, detail-oriented mindset.

• Commitment to visual consistency.

• A self-directed work ethic with the capability to troubleshoot independently.

• A portfolio showcasing branding work must be included with the CV.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher is required.

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or related creative fields is advantageous.
