Freelance Background Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure a well-organized and effective workflow

• Finalize environments and background props thoroughly for production

• Achieve daily production quotas throughout the workweek

• Produce around 25 environments weekly

• Execute revisions by management-imposed deadlines

• Modify tasks and responsibilities according to skills and experience

• Contribute to 2D backgrounds and animations for Newscape Studios' YouTube channels

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop

• Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, and Illustrator

• Knowledge of Toon Boom is advantageous but not mandatory

• Capability to adapt to various artistic styles

• Strong grasp of composition, perspective, color theory, light, and form

• Must be able to collaborate effectively within a team

• Excellent communication and listening abilities

• Strong time management skills

• Comfortable with meeting deadlines and daily production quotas

• Keen attention to detail and consistency

• A portfolio is required for consideration

• Artists with their own LLCs are preferred but not essential

• Must have authorization to work in the US
