Senior 2D Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Create typography systems, color schemes, grid structures, and visual identities across various channels.

• Transform concepts from initial sketches to final implementations.

• Design and showcase 2D solutions for print, digital, environmental, and experiential projects.

• Guarantee precise execution of kerning, hierarchy, color relationships, and overall composition.

• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Motion Designers, and 3D Artists on comprehensive visual systems.

• Guide emerging designers and provide constructive feedback.

• Align visual choices with strategic goals to cultivate unique and consistent identities.

• Articulate creative vision and rationalize design choices effectively.

• Oversee timelines and manage multiple priorities while producing polished, production-ready work.

• Investigate new tools, technologies, methods, and AI to enhance the design workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio or work samples are necessary for consideration.

• Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.

• Advanced knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and visual systems.

• A portfolio that showcases conceptual depth, consistency, and bold aesthetic choices.

• Capability to create typography systems, color palettes, grid architectures, and visual identities.

• Proficiency in developing and presenting 2D solutions across print, digital, environmental, and experiential mediums.

• Expert-level skills in kerning, hierarchy, color relationships, and composition.

• Ability to work collaboratively with Creative Directors, Motion Designers, and 3D Artists.

• Skill in mentoring junior designers and providing constructive critiques.

• Strong strategic design problem-solving abilities.

• Competence in communicating creative vision and confidently presenting design decisions.

• Capacity to handle tight deadlines and competing priorities while delivering production-ready outputs.

• An inquisitive nature towards new tools, technologies, methods, and AI.
