This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct independent research utilizing AI tools to uncover new and emerging fraud trends.

• Collaborate with data scientists to develop machine learning models aimed at detecting fraudulent behavior on a large scale.

• Continuously evaluate the network for potential vulnerabilities.

• Analyze extensive messaging and voice traffic to identify innovative patterns of fraudulent activity, including Account Takeover (ATO) and Account Integrity Threat (AIT).

• Design and implement proactive strategies to mitigate fraud, ensuring the protection of customers and the network.

• Work closely with data science and engineering teams to enhance detection models and minimize false positives.

• Perform thorough investigations into significant fraud incidents.

• Deliver root cause analysis along with actionable recommendations.

• Stay updated on industry trends in fraud and bot detection to uphold a competitive defense strategy.

• Travel occasionally for project or team meetings conducted in person.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in fraud investigations, trust & safety, or security analysis within a rapidly growing tech environment or large-scale distributed systems.

• Advanced proficiency in complex data analysis, SQL, and data visualization tools.

• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing proactive fraud mitigation strategies.

• Strong leadership in cross-functional incident response initiatives.

• Capacity to convert complex security risks into clear, actionable business strategies for both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Experience in the CPaaS, telecommunications, or payments sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their use in fraud detection is advantageous.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
