This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Offer direction and coaching to franchisees and the Operations team to meet company and operational objectives.
• Utilize restaurant operations and staffing expertise to advise franchise owners/operators and enhance sales, profits, operational standards, and systems.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to IDQ policies and system standards.
• Secure and maintain the support of DMA chairpeople and other key franchisee leaders in achieving operational targets.
• Collaborate with functional experts as necessary and provide support to other departments when required.
• Execute the Worldwide Operations Business Plan for a specific district.
• Create and implement comprehensive marketing, operations, training, development, and supply chain business plans across the district.
• Formulate and execute business plans with franchise owners when suitable.
• Offer guidance and support to ensure alignment with ADQ’s Operations and Marketing Plan.
• Advise on marketing performance through collaboration with departments, vendors, and franchisees.
• Equip franchisees to consistently meet shift management, food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, repair and maintenance, and atmosphere objectives.
• Provide advice and support to foster optimal financial health for franchisees.
• Collaborate with ADQ staff on development, reinvestment, and renewal strategies for both new and existing franchisees.
• Assist other departments/functions as necessary.
• Aid in new store openings as required.
• Complete ad hoc projects as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management, or a related field, or equivalent restaurant operations experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in restaurant management (preferably multi-unit/high volume) and/or franchise operations management, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Clean driving record.
• In-depth knowledge and familiarity with the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations.
• Proficient in marketing, finance, training, human resources, and development.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and precision.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas across business units.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize various projects and requests simultaneously.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.
• Capacity to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend work as necessary.
• ServSafe certification.
• Ability to communicate frequently via telephone and email for over 4 hours daily.
• Willingness to travel overnight for franchisee and staff meetings/visits, averaging two weeks per month.
• Capability to drive an automobile for franchisee and staff meetings/visits.
• Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider.
• Ability to travel by airplane as necessary.
• Ability to stand on concrete or tiled floors for up to 8 hours per day when visiting a franchisee location.
• No food or beverage allergies that would prevent product tasting or working in and around a Dairy Queen restaurant environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
