FPGA Design, Verification Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct verification and documentation for FPGA projects.

• Interpret schematics and implement verification methodologies.

• Convert system-level requirements into specifications for FPGA design.

• Produce high-quality SystemVerilog to achieve performance, quality, and timeline goals.

• Develop and execute testing and verification strategies for FPGA designs.

• Promote best practices for design quality, development methodologies, and ongoing improvement.

• Generate modular, reusable, synthesizable, and verification IP for current and upcoming projects.

• Assist in debugging and defect resolution, including validation, logging, and root-cause analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must reside in the US.

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing complex FPGA-based digital designs utilizing SoCs with embedded processing, high-speed interfaces, and custom IP.

• Conduct FPGA verification and documentation.

• Ability to read schematics and apply verification methodologies effectively.

• Capability to translate system-level requirements into FPGA design specifications.

• Proficient in writing SystemVerilog.

• Familiarity with ARM-based systems, build tools (make, git), and CI/CD practices.

• Experience with Questa, Vivado, and GitHub Actions.

• Background in FPGA, firmware, and embedded system testing.

• Proficient with Xilinx design, including Block Design, AXI IP, and custom IP integration.

• Skilled in SystemVerilog, Python, TCL, and Bash.

• Understanding of embedded protocols such as I2C, QSPI, UART, and PCIe.

• Knowledge of BMC management and protocols including IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, and Redfish.
