FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to oversee monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgeting processes.

• Serve as a financial advisor, offering KPI and business-driver analysis and insights to assist business functions in achieving their OKRs.

• Create and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, assess risks, and facilitate informed decision-making.

• Perform scenario analyses for strategic initiatives and provide actionable recommendations.

• Work with extensive and complex datasets to generate analytics that enhance revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.

• Track and analyze KPIs, business drivers, and unit economics to pinpoint risks and opportunities.

• Examine financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends, synthesizing key messages for business partners.

• Identify new metrics that align with strategic goals while reducing risks.

• Challenge existing interpretations of data by utilizing advanced analytical conclusions.

• Contribute to strategic projects, including M&A, fundraising efforts, and various business initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of finance-related experience within a corporate environment.

• Strong ability to articulate financial concepts clearly.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Solid business acumen and a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles.

• Advanced financial modeling expertise.

• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and G-suite.

• Quick adaptability to new systems, including financial software applications.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and tasks simultaneously.

• Prior experience with NetSuite, CRMs, and/or enterprise planning tools (such as Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion) is advantageous.

• Experience in SaaS or M&A is a bonus.
