This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Join as the inaugural Technical Program Manager and assist in crafting and developing Supabase’s Technical Program Management function.
• Report directly to the Head of TPM.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and other stakeholders to organize and propel intricate cross-team initiatives.
• Define scope and value, gain commitment across a distributed organization, establish timelines, and guide activities from design to launch.
• Establish mechanisms for tracking, reporting, and escalation to highlight risks and progress.
• Develop processes for predictable, consistent, and coordinated launch readiness.
• Supply asynchronous teams with context to ensure continued progress and remove obstacles.
• Foster stakeholder relationships and maintain transparency regarding program goals, commitments, risks, and delivery quality through effective written communication.
• Identify bottlenecks, devise resolution options, and communicate trade-offs effectively.
• Map dependencies across projects and teams, coordinating delivery among groups without shared reporting lines.
• Hold Engineering, Product, and Design accountable for delivery results while monitoring risks and facilitating work unblocking.
• Cultivate technical and domain knowledge as an engaged member of the delivery team and triad.
• Utilize and enhance Linear standards across the organization.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical program management within software, SaaS, or systems development environments.
• Proven history of successfully leading large-scale, cross-team software delivery programs to completion.
• Comfort in operating within a fully remote, async-first environment.
• Capability to communicate effectively and quickly establish credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Ability to influence and drive results without a direct reporting relationship.
• Keen attention to detail and execution focus, rooted in data.
• Strong technical fluency to recognize risks in plans and engage with senior engineers regarding architecture and dependencies.
• Experience with Linear, Jira, or comparable tools at scale.
• Fully remote; work from any location.
