Founding Member of Technical Staff – Forward Deployed Engineer, PE Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Aran's deployment on client projects from the initial kickoff to the delivery of an engineering package.

• Configure and enhance parametric engines and AI agents to meet customer standards, templates, and workflows.

• Develop integrations, scripts, and tools that connect Aran to clients' CAD/BIM, document, and project management systems.

• Collaborate onsite with customer engineers and construction teams to quickly address and resolve issues.

• Transform field insights into product requirements, reusable features, and necessary fixes.

• Assist in scaling Aran from flagship projects to numerous deployments.

• Partner with developers, hyperscalers, EPCs, and engineering teams to convert projects into functional Aran deployments.

• Gain an understanding of how customers design, permit, and construct, while configuring engines to their standards and delivering engineering outputs punctually.

• Travel frequently to customer offices and job sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong engineering skills with a proven track record of shipping software relied upon by actual users.

• Highly skilled in working with AI coding agents.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with engineers, project managers, and executives.

• Capacity to remain composed and resourceful when customer deadlines are under pressure.

• Quick learner of technical domains, including power, cooling, structures, permitting, and construction.

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer offices and job sites.

• Systems thinker.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

• Experience as a forward-deployed, solutions, or field engineer, or managing technical projects for demanding clients is particularly valued.

• An engineering or computer science degree is not mandatory.

• Experience in data centers, construction, or AEC is not required.

• Previous forward-deployed or customer-facing role is not a prerequisite.
