Founding Engineer – Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the product from start to finish as a versatile generalist, including building, shipping, and deploying across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

• Ensure the live platform remains operational, addressing incidents and defects while managing safe releases and rollbacks.

• Leverage AI and agentic coding tools to enhance personal productivity while independently verifying accuracy, security, and robustness.

• Drive the platform's progress towards achieving ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance by April 2027.

• Enhance the reliability, measurability, and safety of the AI assistant and orchestration functionalities.

• Evaluate what aspects of the current platform should be preserved, isolated, improved, or replaced based on customer risk and commercial significance.

• Seamlessly transition between frontend and backend tasks as a true full-stack generalist.

• Strengthen, scale, and advance the existing AI-native Professional Services Automation product, which includes delivery intelligence, AI assistant, SOW ingestion, project/resource/commercial management, and beta orchestration.

• Serve as the company's hands-on technical leader, with the potential to influence the hiring of the first supporting engineering personnel.

• Collaborate directly with both technical and non-technical founders in a dynamic and evolving environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a preference for early-stage startup or high-ownership roles.

• 5+ years of senior-level full-stack engineering experience, ideally with a React/TypeScript frontend and Node/Postgres-style backend, or a strong equivalent in modern JavaScript/TypeScript full-stack such as Next.js or Vue/Nuxt, demonstrating proven end-to-end ownership.

• 4+ years of senior-level experience with complete ownership of cloud deployments, releases, and CI/CD processes, or a solid history of shipping and managing production infrastructure without a dedicated DevOps/platform team.

• 3+ years of senior-level experience with Postgres/Supabase or similar technologies, including expertise in row-level security and edge functions.

• 1–2+ years of senior-level experience utilizing AI-assisted/agentic coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot for production software deployment, or substantial disciplined use of LLMs in a professional development context.

• A reliable method for validating AI-generated outputs rather than accepting them uncritically.

• Comfortable functioning as a senior/staff-level individual contributor generalist, owning a product or platform independently or with minimal assistance.

• Previous certification experience is not mandatory for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance.
