Forward Deployed Engineer – Pharma Commercial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to implement and tailor product solutions for commercial analytics applications.

• Convert client business inquiries into data models, analyses, and product functionalities.

• Act as the technical liaison among client teams, product, and engineering departments.

• Create and optimize SQL queries for analyzing extensive healthcare and commercial datasets.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, opportunities, and insights.

• Develop analytical workflows that align with product capabilities and client requirements.

• Utilize LLM-based tools and workflows to expedite data analysis, insight generation, and knowledge extraction.

• Design prompts and workflows that merge structured data with AI-assisted analysis.

• Assist in the development of AI-powered analytics features.

• Convert client feedback into scalable product functionalities.

• Prototype analytical workflows that can evolve into product features.

• Participate in product roadmap discussions informed by client usage and market demands.

• Deliver insights and recommendations to both internal and client stakeholders.

• Simplify complex analytical results into clear business implications.

• Work collaboratively across product, engineering, and founding teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in analytics, consulting, data science, or data engineering, particularly in Pharma Commercial data.

• Experience in Pharma Commercial data is an essential requirement.

• Proficiency in SQL and structured datasets.

• Familiarity with AI ranking.

• Basic programming knowledge in Python, R, or similar languages.

• Experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial data, including sales, claims, patient-level data, and target lists, is a prerequisite.

• Knowledge of LLM tools, AI-assisted analysis, or prompt-based workflows is preferred.

• Understanding of commercial analytics, forecasting, or market access workflows is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, client-facing situations.

• Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities.

• Comfort in engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
