Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Solutions and business stakeholders throughout Warner Music Group to swiftly create and implement automation and data/AI solutions.

• Engage directly with stakeholders from various labels and global functions to provide quick solutions.

• Transform manual tasks that typically require weeks into streamlined workflows that can be completed in minutes.

• Develop comprehensive full-stack solutions encompassing data pipelining, interoperability, Python backend development, dashboards, and Streamlit applications.

• Utilize Databricks and Snowflake AI tools, including Genie and Cortex, to expedite solution development.

• Deliver production-ready AI solutions tailored for non-technical stakeholders.

• Quickly grasp ambiguous problem domains and create impactful solutions without pre-defined requirements.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from entry-level staff to executives, managing expectations and providing updates.

• Investigate new technologies and adapt to varied challenges and sectors.

• Contribute to best practices and utilize existing tools and systems in alignment with the Data and Insights engineering roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proven experience working with customers.

• Proficiency in Python programming.

• Experience in data pipelining, including ETL processes.

• Familiarity with Snowflake and/or Databricks; knowledge of either is adequate.

• Ideally, experience with Genie Code or Cortex Code, Notebooks, and Streamlit.

• Capability to utilize AI tools for designing, building, and deploying production solutions.

• Strong product instincts with the ability to quickly comprehend ambiguous problem spaces.

• Skill in communicating complex concepts in simple terms to stakeholders at all levels.

• Knowledge of AI tools such as Gemini, Cortex Code, and Genie Code.

• A sense of curiosity and agility in navigating diverse technologies, challenges, and domains.
