Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product Solutions team and essential business stakeholders throughout Warner Music Group

• Swiftly create and implement automation and data- and AI-driven solutions

• Engage directly with business stakeholders across various labels and global departments

• Transform tedious, time-intensive tasks into efficient workflows that can be completed in minutes

• Provide comprehensive solutions, encompassing data pipelining and system interoperability

• Build backend systems utilizing Python

• Create dashboards and applications using Streamlit

• Utilize AI tools from Databricks and Snowflake, including Genie and Cortex

• Grasp stakeholder challenges and deliver meaningful solutions with minimal context

• Effectively communicate with and manage the expectations of non-technical clients

• Keep clients updated throughout the solution delivery process

• Investigate and implement new technologies across different areas

• Contribute to best practices and utilize existing tools and systems in line with the engineering roadmap

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering

• Proficient in Python

• Experience in data pipelining, such as ETL processes

• Familiarity with Snowflake and/or Databricks; proficiency in one is adequate

• Exposure to client interactions

• Ideally, experience with Genie Code or Cortex Code, Notebooks, and Streamlit

• Competency in working across backend, frontend, data pipelines, and AI tools

• Capability to effectively utilize AI while upholding high engineering standards

• Ability to design, develop, and deploy production-level AI solutions

• Quick comprehension of problems and formulation of solutions without predefined requirements

• Strong communication abilities with non-technical stakeholders, from entry-level to executive

• Knowledge of AI tools such as Gemini, Cortex Code, and Genie Code

• Flexibility in addressing a variety of challenges and domains

• Willingness to contribute to standards and align solutions with the Data and Insights engineering roadmap

• Enthusiasm for learning and receiving feedback
