Forward Deployed Engineer – AI, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Analyze existing workflows from start to finish and identify operational challenges.

• Redefine future-state operations utilizing AI to enhance collaboration between humans and agents.

• Create operational frameworks that encompass organizational structure, roles, governance, cross-functional engagement, and value realization.

• Set performance benchmarks and establish measurement systems.

• Detect value discrepancies in stalled implementations and guide the recovery towards ROI.

• Develop functional AI-driven prototypes leveraging LLM APIs, platform-native capabilities, and low-code/no-code environments.

• Utilize demonstrations and prototypes to ensure stakeholder alignment within client processes.

• Assess practical AI use cases and provide clients with realistic expectations.

• Facilitate the deployment of new tools and workflows through process design and change management methodologies.

• Create enablement resources that support the intended operational framework.

• Assist in engagement scoping and diagnostic evaluations related to value capture, readiness, and adoption strategies.

• Contribute to reusable frameworks and tools to enhance practice qualification and scoping.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or similar roles within enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.

• Proven expertise in at least two of the following areas: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.

• A demonstrated history of constructing structured, evidence-based arguments to persuade and align senior stakeholders.

• Practical experience in developing functional AI-driven workflows, automations, and prototypes.

• Capability to swiftly scope and create a working proof of concept during client engagements.

• Ability to operate independently without reliance on a dedicated engineering team.

• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in root-cause analysis.

• Accountability for measurable results and impact.

• Capacity to work in a forward-deployed role alongside client engineers, product leaders, and operators.

• Experience with large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or extensive technology rollouts is highly desirable.
