Forward Deployed Engineer – AI, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Analyze current workflows from start to finish and identify areas of operational friction.

• Revamp target-state operations by leveraging AI to enhance collaboration between human agents.

• Develop operational models that encompass organizational structure, roles, governance, interaction frameworks, and value realization.

• Set performance baselines and create measurement frameworks.

• Identify value gaps in stalled implementations and guide the project back on track to achieve ROI.

• Create AI-driven prototypes utilizing LLM APIs, platform-specific features, and low-code/no-code platforms.

• Employ functional demos and prototypes to synchronize stakeholder alignment within client processes.

• Assess practical AI opportunities and provide clients with realistic expectations.

• Facilitate the deployment of new tools and workflows through effective process design and change management.

• Develop enablement resources for technology deployments.

• Assist in engagement scoping and conduct diagnostic assessments.

• Contribute reusable frameworks and tools to enhance practice qualification and scoping.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or similar roles in enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.

• Proven expertise in at least two of the following areas: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market strategies.

• Established history of constructing structured, evidence-based arguments to persuade and align senior stakeholders.

• Practical experience in designing functional AI-driven workflows, automations, and prototypes.

• Capability to quickly outline and create a working proof of concept within client engagement constraints.

• Ability to operate independently without a dedicated engineering team.

• Strong diagnostic aptitude aimed at understanding root causes and identifying flawed processes.

• Commitment to delivering measurable outcomes and impacts.

• Capacity to work in a forward-deployed role alongside client engineers, product leads, and operators.

• Experience with large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or technology rollouts is highly preferred.
