Forward Deployed Engineer – AI, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Map out existing workflows from start to finish and identify operational challenges.

• Redesign future-state operations leveraging AI to enhance collaboration between humans and agents.

• Create operating models that encompass structure, roles, governance, cross-functional interactions, and value realization.

• Set performance baselines and implement measurement frameworks.

• Recognize value gaps in stalled projects and help restore the pathway to ROI.

• Develop AI-driven prototypes utilizing LLM APIs, platform-native features, and low-code/no-code environments.

• Utilize working demos and prototypes to align stakeholders with client processes.

• Assess practical AI use cases and provide clients with realistic expectations.

• Assist in the rollout of tools and workflows through effective process design and change management.

• Create enablement materials that link technology implementations to operating models.

• Aid in engagement scoping and diagnostic assessments for value capture, readiness, and adoption strategies.

• Contribute to reusable frameworks and tools that enhance practice qualification and scoping.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or similar roles in enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.

• Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.

• Demonstrated ability to construct structured, evidence-based arguments to influence and align senior stakeholders.

• Practical experience in developing functional AI-driven workflows, automations, and prototypes.

• Capability to quickly scope and create working proofs of concept during client engagements.

• Ability to operate independently without a dedicated engineering team.

• Strong diagnostic approach focused on identifying root causes and addressing broken processes.

• Commitment to achieving measurable outcomes and impact.

• Capacity to work in a forward-deployed role alongside client engineers, product leads, and operators.

• Experience in large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or technology rollouts is highly preferred.

• Reliable internet connection and laptop for remote work.

• Currently residing in Latin America.
