Forward Deployed Engineer – AI, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Integrate seamlessly with client teams at the forefront of enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Analyze existing workflows from start to finish and identify operational bottlenecks.

• Redesign future-state operations, decision-making processes, and human-agent collaboration leveraging AI technologies.

• Develop operating models that encompass organizational structure, roles, governance, cross-functional collaboration, and value realization.

• Set performance baselines and establish measurement frameworks.

• Spot value discrepancies in stalled implementations and guide them back toward ROI.

• Create functional AI-driven prototypes utilizing LLM APIs, platform-native features, and low-code/no-code environments.

• Utilize working demos and prototypes to gain alignment among stakeholders within client processes.

• Provide guidance on where AI can enhance workflows versus where it might distract.

• Facilitate the rollout of new tools and workflows through effective process design and change management.

• Develop enablement materials that support the desired operating model.

• Assist in scoping engagements and conducting diagnostic assessments for value capture, implementation readiness, and adoption strategies.

• Contribute reusable frameworks and tools to enhance practice qualification and scoping.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or similar roles within enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.

• Proven expertise in at least two areas such as organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.

• Established history of constructing structured, evidence-based arguments to influence and align senior stakeholders.

• Practical experience in developing functional AI-driven workflows, automations, and prototypes.

• Capability to quickly scope and create a working proof of concept during client engagements.

• Ability to function independently without a dedicated engineering team.

• Strong diagnostic mindset aimed at uncovering root causes and identifying broken processes.

• Responsibility for achieving measurable outcomes and impact.

• Preference for early proof and operational prototypes.

• Capacity to work in a forward-deployed role alongside client engineers, product leads, and operators.

• Experience in conducting large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or large-scale technology rollouts is highly desirable.
