Forward Deployed Engineer – AI, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze existing workflows comprehensively to identify operational friction, handoff failures, governance deficiencies, and tool mismatches.

• Redesign future-state operations utilizing AI to enhance workflows, decision-making authority, and collaboration between humans and agents.

• Develop operating models that encompass organizational structure, roles, governance, cross-functional interaction frameworks, and value realization strategies.

• Establish performance baselines and create measurement frameworks.

• Identify value gaps in stalled implementations and guide the path back to ROI.

• Create AI-driven prototypes leveraging LLM APIs, platform-specific features, and low-code/no-code environments.

• Utilize working demos and prototypes to ensure stakeholder alignment within client processes.

• Assess practical AI applications and provide clients with realistic expectations.

• Facilitate the rollout of new tools and workflows through process design and change management.

• Develop enablement materials that link technology implementations to the operating model.

• Assist in engagement scoping and diagnostic assessments for value capture, implementation readiness, and adoption strategy.

• Contribute reusable frameworks and tools to enhance practice qualification and scoping.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or related roles within enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.

• Proven expertise in at least two of the following areas: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.

• A solid history of crafting structured, evidence-based arguments to influence and align senior stakeholders.

• Practical experience in creating functional AI-powered workflows, automations, and prototypes.

• Capability to deliver working solutions as opposed to merely designing them.

• Competence in rapidly scoping and developing a working proof of concept during client engagements.

• Ability to work independently without a dedicated engineering team.

• Strong diagnostic mindset aimed at identifying root causes and flawed processes.

• Commitment to measurable outcomes and impact.

• Preference for developing working prototypes instead of standard roadmaps.

• Ability to operate in a forward-deployed role alongside client engineers, product leads, and operators.

• Experience in large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or extensive technology rollouts is highly preferred.
