Forward Deployed Engineer – AI, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze existing workflows from start to finish and identify areas of operational friction, handoff issues, governance deficiencies, and tool misalignments.

• Redesign future-state operations to create more efficient workflows, establish clearer decision-making authority, and enhance collaboration between human agents and AI.

• Develop operating models that encompass organizational structure, roles, governance, cross-functional collaboration, and value realization.

• Set performance benchmarks and measurement systems to monitor progress and improvements.

• Identify value deficiencies in stalled projects and reestablish the path to Return on Investment (ROI).

• Create AI-driven prototypes utilizing LLM APIs, platform-specific features, and low-code/no-code environments.

• Employ working demonstrations and prototypes to ensure stakeholder alignment throughout client processes.

• Assess practical AI applications and guide clients on feasible expectations.

• Assist in the implementation of tools and workflows through process design and change management strategies.

• Develop enablement resources that link technology implementations to the operating model.

• Aid in engagement scoping and diagnostic evaluations for value capture, readiness for implementation, and adoption strategies.

• Contribute to the creation of reusable frameworks and tools to enhance practice qualification and scoping capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or similar roles within enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.

• Proven expertise in at least two of the following areas: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.

• Demonstrated ability to construct structured, evidence-based arguments to influence and align senior stakeholders.

• Practical experience in developing functional AI-driven workflows, automations, and prototypes.

• Capacity to deliver working solutions rather than just focusing on design.

• Skill to quickly scope and create a working proof of concept during client engagements.

• Ability to work independently without relying on a dedicated engineering team.

• Strong diagnostic approach aimed at identifying root causes and inefficiencies in processes.

• Commitment to achieving measurable outcomes and impact.

• Preference for early proof and functional prototypes.

• Capability to operate in a forward-deployed role alongside client engineers, product leads, and operators.

• Experience with large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or technology implementations is highly desirable.
