This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Reconcile financial information across various tracking systems, operational sites, and program offices.
• Assist in the execution and oversight of financial transactions, including tracking, verification, and administrative review.
• Utilize and oversee pay.gov, GFEBS, CFEMS, and the Natural Resources Revenue Tracker (NRRT).
• Evaluate NRRT workflows and data integrity, suggesting process or system enhancements.
• Analyze collections, obligations, allocations, variances, and other performance trends within programs.
• Monitor the development, review, and approval of financial guidance, regulations, SOPs, funding allocations, spending plans, statutory reports, forms, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate financial tracking across Forestry, Agricultural/Grazing, Fish & Wildlife, and Forestry Reserve Account programs.
• Create status reports, reconciliation workbooks, and materials for executive briefings.
• Collaborate with installation, command, and HQ stakeholders concerning data requests and reporting schedules.
• Review work products for accuracy and adherence to Army quality standards.
• Support the Army’s reporting on natural-resource financials and program execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, economics, forestry, natural resource management, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in federal or DoD financial tracking, budget execution support, reimbursable-program accounting, or program analysis.
• Experience in reconciling financial data across ledgers or systems and documenting discrepancies.
• Proficient knowledge of GFEBS, CFEMS, pay.gov, or similar federal financial/collection systems.
• Strong Excel capabilities, including lookups, pivot tables, large datasets, and reconciling multiple sources.
• Ability to prepare SOPs, financial summaries, and reporting materials.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of working with military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Familiarity with DoD/Army natural-resource funding, forestry management, agricultural/grazing outleasing, or fish-and-wildlife fee programs.
• Direct experience with NRRT.
• Knowledge of statutory or reimbursable NR accounts and related reporting.
• Experience in supporting audit-ready documentation for collections and execution.
• Advanced skills in Excel and/or Power BI for creating dashboards and trend analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Approvals, Visio, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
