Fire and Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Commission, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control systems, and other associated security equipment.

• Perform regular inspections and servicing of fire and security systems to ensure adherence to relevant legislation and standards.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and execute effective repairs.

• Collaborate with clients to identify their fire and security requirements and offer appropriate solutions.

• Deliver technical support and training to clients as necessary.

• Participate in on-call duties for emergency response as required.

• Travel to customer locations throughout the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior work experience in the fire and security sector.

• Familiarity with fire systems from various manufacturers.

• Understanding of Access Control, Intruder Systems, and IP CCTV.

• Skills in fault finding and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in programming.

• Strong grasp of software strategies and system integration.

• Ideally, experience with Honeywell’s Building Integrator Front End – Honeywell EBI.

• Excellent customer service abilities and capacity to build relationships with clients through effective communication.

• Valid UK Driving Licence.
