This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and internal Finance teams to gain insights into operations, objectives, and strategies.
• Create intricate financial and operational models to enhance operational efficiency and financial decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed components of operating budgets, which include pricing assumptions, third-party agreements, and legal entity considerations.
• Identify and rectify errors and incorrect assumptions in budgeting processes.
• Deliver financial and operational analyses, reports, solutions, recommendations, strategies, and actions to senior and executive management.
• Engage in issue resolution and explore process improvement initiatives.
• Develop presentations for senior management.
• Evaluate and interpret financial reports, notifying senior management of critical issues and trends.
• Generate solutions and alternatives.
• Travel as necessary for divisional/team meetings and other face-to-face engagements.
• Address business needs, which may involve dedicating extra time and assisting other teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years supporting FP&A / Treasury functions.
• Advanced analytical capabilities to efficiently identify issues and devise solutions.
• Strong skills in mathematics, organization, and business writing.
• Proficiency in project management.
• Experience with operational, product, and financial metrics and models, business planning, cost/benefit analysis, project management, and senior-level analysis.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and skills in building inter-departmental relationships.
• Ability to lead and mentor others through training and guidance.
• Advanced knowledge of AAA business strategy and operational, product, and financial concepts as they pertain to the Personal Lines division and AAA.
• Strong grasp of operational models and related reporting software.
• Awareness of insurance industry trends, regulatory requirements, and business practices, including insurance products, distribution channels, and risk management strategies.
• Capability to negotiate, collaborate across functions, and achieve results through teamwork.
• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States.
